Booking & reservations
  • How do I make a reservation?

You may make a reservation by visiting our website at GoDoghq.com or by calling the campus directly.

  • Is a deposit required?

GoDog collects deposits for major holidays and spring and fall break.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

GoDog collects a $100.00 boarding deposit at the time of booking for high-volume dates. If the pet owner cancels more than 1 week before the check-in date, that $100.00 is applied as a credit to their account or refunded if requested. If the pet owner cancels within one week of the check-in date, the $100.00 is paid as a cancellation fee.

  • Are reservations required?

Yes, for both boarding and daycare

  • How far in advance do I need to book?

It is recommended that reservations for both boarding and daycare be made at least 24 hours in advance. Holidays do fill up fast, so we recommend booking as soon as possible to make sure you have a spot.

  • Do you provide training services?

Yes! We provide an in-depth training program at our Nashville campus. We offer programs starting at 2 weeks, with 6 cues. For more information, contact us at academy@godogwestnashville.com

Boarding & daycare
Dog requirements
  • Do you have breed restrictions?

    No.

  • What vaccinations do you require?

GoDog follows the American Animal Hospital Association’s guidelines for vaccination. Required GoDog vaccinations include DHPP (aka DA2PP, DHLPP), Bordetella, and Rabies. We do accept a Titer lab report with appropriate level results from licensed veterinarians for the Distemper vaccine. If utilizing a Titer, the report must be submitted annually in lieu of a vaccination record. The Canine Influenza vaccination is not required, but it is highly recommended.

  • Is my pet required to be spayed or neutered?

We happily board intact dogs, and encourage owners to spay/neuter your dog. If your female dog is intact, you must sign an Intact Form prior to boarding at GoDog.

    • Dogs who are 6 months and older must be spayed or neutered to participate in daycare.
    • After a dog has been spayed/neutered, you must wait 14 days before your dog can participate in daycare or board at GoDog; no external sutures can be present at time of the dog’s visit.
    • No female dogs currently in heat can participate in daycare or board at GoDog. If a female dog goes into heat while boarding, they must be picked up by a local contact that same day. After a female’s heat cycle ends, you must wait 14 days for a dog to board at GoDog.
  • What is a Care Assessment/Temperament Test?

A Care Assessment is required for all dogs new to GoDog whether participating in Daycare or Boarding. A Care Assessment is used to evaluate the temperament/demeanor of each dog in order to determine if they are a candidate for daycare, and which play yard is appropriate for each dog.

  • What happens if my dog gets hurt or hurts another pet?

If a dog is injured on campus and requires emergency medical attention we will notify the pet owner and seek medical attention at the nearest emergency vet. If an incident occurs, we will evaluate each situation on a case by case basis to determine if the dog is a candidate for daycare and is allowed to return to the play yard.

Dog Park Bar
  • Do I need to have a dog to enjoy the Dog Park Bar?

Not at all! We love dog-friendly people, not just dog owners. We have a great selection of local craft beers, non-ABV options, as well as locally sourced snacks. However, we are a Dog Park Bar, so if you’re not a fan of dogs, this may not be the best place for you.

  • Do I have to pay to enter if I don’t have a dog?

NO! Our human friends are free to enter. However, you will need to sign a short waiver at the check-in desk prior to entering. Our dogs are our “members” and must pay for a single-day pass, or they can upgrade to a monthly, or yearly membership for the most savings long-term.

  • Is the Dog Park & Bar open when it rains?

YES! We are open rain or shine. With our large climate-controlled covered patio, you will be out of the rain and colder weather. Since most dogs don't mind running around in the rain and colder days, they’re free to roam. In the winter, we have infrared heaters under the covered patio, and in the warmer months we have plenty of shade and misting fans too!

  • Do you have free Wi-Fi for me to work and TVs to watch while my pup plays?

YES! Since working from home is normal for so many, our Wi-Fi is free and available to you, but please remember to keep your eyes on your pup as well. Our park attendants are here to help guide safe play, but not solely responsible for your dog’s behavior or their messes. And yes, we also have multiple indoor/outdoor TVs to catch the big games live!

  • Can I bring outside food or drinks with me?

No outside food or drinks are permitted on the GoDog campus. We ask that all food and dog treats purchased onsite are enjoyed in our covered patio area safely with your pups on-leash. No food is allowed in the turfed yard area.

  • Can I bring my kids?

No. Due to the safety of the dogs and children, we are an 18+ Dog Park Bar only. With proof of ID, guests who are 21+ may drink alcoholic beverages.

  • Can I host an event at the Dog Park Bar?

YES! We host both dog and people-only events here. Whether you want to host doggy birthdays, corporate events, after-work happy hours, fundraisers or even turn the yard into the perfect wedding rehearsal space, we can host all sorts of events here. Please email us at info@godogchatt.com or call us at 423-654-7580.

  • Do I need to provide vet records for my pup before entering the park?

    • Bring your vaccine and spay/neuter records or digital copies to your first visit. (Please note this option will take some time to complete the information. We strongly encourage you to register and upload all of your records prior to coming.)
    • All dogs must be current on vaccinations Distemper (DHPP/DHLPP/Da2PP), Rabies and Bordetella (aka Kennel Cough) vaccines. All dogs six months and older must be spayed or neutered.
  • Are the dogs supervised while in the park by staff?

YES, we have trained dog professionals who monitor the safety of our pups while in the park. However, you must stay present and watch your pup as well as clean up after their mess.

  • Do you have size or breed restrictions?

No. All well-socialized, vaccinated dogs six months and older (spay/neuter required at six months) are welcome to play together here.

  • Do you have a separate park area for small dogs?

No. We have a large open yard for all dogs to socialize together. We do host a small dogs-only (20lbs or less) group once a week here on Sundays from 11am-1pm.
